BUS 377 - Content Strategy for Social Media

This course introduces students to using social media for strategic communication, analyzing its business applications, cultural influence, and personal considerations. Students will gain the knowledge and skills to navigate digital communication trends through both theory and practice by learning content creation, engagement techniques, and audience targeting while experimenting with the latest social media platforms. Additionally, students will measure social media impact through data analytics and insights. Students will produce social media content plans for an organization, develop social media personal branding strategies, and consider ethical and legal implications and future social media contexts. By the course’s end, students will gain an industry-respected certification in social media.

Prerequisite(s): COMM 110 .
