COMM 110 - Communication Skills

(3)
Being an effective communicator is crucial for building meaningful relationships and thriving in diverse contexts. Good communication skills enable us to be more faithful and better able to serve God and our neighbors. Employers in all fields consistently identify good communication skills as essential for people they hire. Through theory, practice, and real-world applications, students will be introduced to, and develop skills in interpersonal and group contexts, listening, public speaking, persuasion, and the role of technology and media in our lives. An emphasis will also be placed on written communication, and reflective and critical thinking.

Offered each semester.
