ART 251 - Acrylic Painting (3)
This course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to acrylic painting focusing on techniques, color theory, composition, and creative expression. Students will explore a contemporary approach to painting and will work from foundational techniques to more advanced and complex methods. As they engage in the creative process through project-based exploration students will develop an appreciation for the complexity of creating in this medium and explore their roles as image bearers and co-creators with God. This course is designed to accommodate students at all skill levels.
Prerequisite(s): ART 232 recommended.
Offered Spring 2026 and alternate Spring semesters.
