ART 232 - 2D Design and Color Theory (3)
This course uses a variety of hands-on projects and exercises to introduce a variety of 2D media and the major elements and principles of design and color theory, including composition, rhythm, scale, balance, unity, harmony, and more. As God has structured our world with these elements, students will explore their understanding of God as creator through participating in the creative process. The course will also focus on developing professional studio habits and practices, learning the art of visual communication, and focusing on audience and purpose as they relate to both word and image. This course is designed to accommodate students at all skill levels.
