The Integrated Science Education major is designed to prepare students for secondary science teaching licensure. Upon completing this program, 38 hours of Professional Education requirements, and other requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree, students will be licensed to teach life science, chemistry, physics, and earth science in grades 7-12. Because of the broad scope of this major, most students should expect to take at least five years to complete the requirements for this degree. Students must choose to emphasize either life science or chemistry in this major.
