BIOL 213 - Zoo Leadership and Management (2) This is a foundational course so that the student will understand all aspects of zoo operations including, but not limited to: adaptive leadership; team-building; effective communication; conservation management; and safety, compliance, and risk management. Contemporary zoos will be used as models to explore these issues. Students will be required to work one 2-hour shift each week in the Malone Zoo.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 111 , 112 .
