PSYC 121 - Introduction to Psychology (3) An introduction to psychology as the science of behavior and mental processes of humans and non-human animals. Includes the exploration of diverse areas of psychology. An understanding of the major findings in these areas, as well as the research methodologies used to discover them, is fostered in this course. It includes the application of psychology to various spheres of functioning and experience. Emphasis is on function and dysfunction with consideration of biological, emotional, cognitive, environmental, social, and cultural factors. This subject matter is further contextualized to help students consider and appreciate humans being created in the image of God.
