NURS 355 - Pathophysiology and Applied Therapeutics I (3)
The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive study of pathophysiology and pharmacotherapeutics with application in areas of diagnostic studies and nutrition. Students will integrate concepts from chemistry, biology, anatomy, and physiology to understand selected disease processes and pharmacologic therapies as a foundation for safe nursing practice and clinical decision-making.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 131 , 132 .
Offered each Spring and Summer.
