BIOL 354 - Wildlife Biology and Conservation (4) This course provides students with foundational knowledge of the natural history of amphibians, reptiles, and mammals found in eastern North America and particular attention is given to factors that inform species management and conservation decisions. Concepts covered include systematics, ecology, field identification of common wildlife species, and a discussion of the abilities of species to respond to environmental stressors. The historical development and contemporary practices of Wildlife Management and Conservation Biology will be highlighted and compared. Includes two lab hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 255 .
