ART 375 - Ceramic Arts (3) Through clay media, students will learn and practice the foundational skills for hand building, sculpting, and wheel throwing. The process of working with clay, firing, and glazing will be accompanied by discussion around artistic conceptualization and expression. Students will research both contemporary and historical ceramic artists and integrate similar methods into their work. As our creator drew us from the dust, students will contemplate and experience the creative aspect of God’s nature by taking part in this ancient art.
Offered Fall 2026 and alternate Fall semesters.
