The major in Youth Ministry recognizes the variety of ways to present the gospel of Christ in today’s society. The particular focus of this major is to prepare students to lead ministries which touch the lives of adolescents and young adults. It endeavors to combine faith, theory, and practical experience by providing local internship/practicum opportunities that can begin in the sophomore year and continue for up to three years. This major allows students to enter a ministry position immediately upon graduation.
