Curriculum and Instruction

The Curriculum and Instruction program is designed for educators who wish to strengthen their classroom instructional skill and knowledge. Educators in a variety of school settings, kindergarten through grade twelve, as well as those in business-training environments find this program of study to be attractive. Reasons include its emphasis on contemporary educational issues in curriculum and instruction and its flexibility for candidates to tailor the program to fit their individual needs.
The degree program consists of 12 semester hours of Foundation courses, 9 semester hours of Core courses, and 15 hours of Electives courses to be chosen from graduate course offerings as outlined below. Two optional Endorsements are available as cognate areas within the elective courses.

Courses may be selected from other graduate offerings in Education including the endorsements listed below or from another discipline with prior approval of the Program Director. Graduate Workshop credits may constitute a maximum of four of the elective credits. |
