Reading Endorsement
|
|
The K-12 reading endorsement may be added to any existing Ohio teaching license after completing the required coursework and passing the appropriate Ohio Assessments for Educators exam. This endorsement is designed to help teachers develop expertise in assisting young students to become literate, serve as K-12 reading teachers, and be highly qualified in reading. The program is a cognate area in the M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. For those who already have master’s degrees in education, the endorsement may be earned by taking the endorsement-only courses.
