ART 423 - Digital Illustration (3) The study and practice of digital illustration techniques as they apply to creating illustrations for use in a variety of markets and illustration genres. Traditional art techniques will also be integrated into projects at a variety of levels. Drawing and composition are important in visual storytelling and considerable time will be devoted to the conceptual process. Projects will introduce students to a variety of commercial applications for illustration in both static and motion-based formats. Projects will apply traditional artistic design principles and aesthetics to design problems
Prerequisite(s): ART 232, 271.
Offered Spring 2023 and alternate Spring semesters.
