HIST 341 - African History (nw) (3) This course surveys the history of sub-Saharan Africa from the ancient kingdoms to the present day. This course includes the development of African kingdoms, traditional African institutions, the Atlantic slave trade, colonialism, missionaries and African Christians, nationalism, apartheid in South Africa, and recent African states.
Prerequisite(s): HIST 111 or 112.
Offered Fall 2019 and alternate Fall semesters.
