CHEM 402 - Physical Chemistry II(4 each semester)
Classical thermodynamic and statistical. Thermodynamic descriptions of physical and chemical systems at equilibrium and kinetic descriptions of systems during states of chemical and nuclear change. An introduction to quantum mechanics is also included.Includes one 3-hour lab per week.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 221; MATH 202 or permission of instructor; PHYS 212
