NURS 314 - Nursing Across the Lifespan III: Clinical(4) Focuses on the application of critical thinking and the integration of knowledge with disease processes, pharmacology, diagnostics, and nutrition to formulate and implement a nursing plan of care. The client population of concern is persons, families, and groups experiencing acute and long-term health care problems. Continues to expand the professional role of the nurse. Clinical settings include pediatrics, psychiatric, medical, and surgical units in acute and long-term care facilities. Includes twelve hours of clinical practice per week. Course fee.
