Intervention Specialist Education, BSE

Intervention Specialist: Mild/Moderate Educational Needs (K-12)

This program leads to the Bachelor of Science in Education degree and the Ohio License in Intervention Specialist: Mild/Moderate Educational Needs (K-12) valid for teaching learners who have mild or moderate educational needs.

The major consists of course requirements in professional education, the literacy core, and the intervention specialist core as follows:

Professional Education Core (33 hours)

Literacy Core (15 hours)

Those students pursuing a Primary Childhood Education (PCE) License with added Intervention Specialist K-12 License complete the Professional Education Course Requirements, the Literacy Core, the PCE Core , and SPED 253, 376, and 405.
