Community Health Education Minor

The community health education minor is designed for students who desire to augment their major field of study with a concentration in core health education courses.

Students pursuing a minor in community health education are required to complete (18 hours):

 

At least four courses from among:

 

Certified Health Education Specialist (C.H.E.S.)

Students interested in pursuing the Certified Health Education Specialist (C.H.E.S.) must take HED 200, 300; the following electives: HED 342, 382, 425, 431, 442; and one of the following courses for a total of 25 semester hours.
