This program is ideal for students who want to work in human services or related fields. Hence, the Human Services major is designed to help students acquire knowledge and skills in key fields that are vital to the human services field. This is accomplished through a blend of courses from psychology and social work. Some careers in human services may also involve knowledge and skills from counseling, sociology, criminal and restorative justice, and communications. Suggested minors that would complement the Human Services major are Chemical Dependency Counseling, Sociology, Criminal and Restorative Justice, and/or Communication Arts.
