The major in Pastoral Ministry is designed to provide an understanding of the Bible, Christian theology, and the practice of pastoral ministry in today’s world. It endeavors to combine faith, theory, and practical experience by providing internship/practicum opportunities that can begin in the sophomore year and continue for up to three years. This major is excellent preparation for students who desire to follow God’s call to pastoral leadership in a variety of possible ministry contexts, or to prepare for graduate studies in ministry of any kind.
