Gender Studies Minor

The Gender Studies minor offers an interdisciplinary approach to examining and analyzing gender and its contextualized meaning from a variety of scholarly perspectives, including communications, health, history, literature, sociology, and theology, among others. The minor will complement any major field of study at Malone University and, in keeping with the institutional mission to prepare men and women for scholarship and service, underscores the value and contributions of both men and women.

Before enrolling in the independent project tutorial, the student must have taken SOC 201 and at least 3 of the 4 elective courses required in this 18-hour minor.
