A student can pursue a Biology major with supporting courses in Community Health Education (option #1) or a major in Community Health Education-Entomology with supporting courses in the Natural Sciences (option #2). The student is able to pursue a Masters of Science (M.S.) in Entomology or a Masters of Public Health (M.P.H.), but would need to complete the CHE minor to be eligible for the national Certified Health Education Specialist examination (C.H.E.S.).

Option #1 consists of a major in Biology (40 hrs.) and supporting courses in Community Health Education (21 hrs.) as follows:
