MSW 648 - Advanced Practice and Policy for Larger Systems (3)
This course explores the complexities of advanced social work practice within macro systems, focusing on policy, organizational leadership, and community engagement. Students will analyze social issues, evaluate existing policies, and explore strategies for advocacy and social change at local, state, and national levels. The course uses a systems perspective to cover topics such as the impact of policy, program evaluation, and the ethical implications of macro-level interventions to promote anti-oppressive macro practice.
Prerequisite(s): Advanced Standing.
