MSW 645 - Advanced Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups (3) This course provides an in-depth exploration of advanced intervention strategies in social work, focusing on individuals, families, and groups. Students will critically analyze various theoretical frameworks and evidence-based practices to effectively assess and address complex psychosocial issues. Emphasis will be placed on the development of advanced skills, that are trauma informed, in case management, therapeutic modalities, crisis intervention, and advocacy, while fostering cultural competence and anti-oppressive practice in diverse cultural contexts.
Prerequisite(s): Advanced Standing.
