ART 375 - Ceramics I(3) Hand-building and throwing on the potter’s wheel will introduce the basic foundational skills in ceramics using medium-fire clay bodies; terminology, use of tools, glazing, and firing will complete this process. Review of historical and contemporary potters will be researched and discussed for design and construction techniques.

Prerequisite(s): ART 113 or permission of department chair for art and visual arts education majors; none for non-art majors
