BUS 126 - Introduction to Lodging Management (3) This course provides an overview of the lodging industry in the context of managing the service experience. Emphasis is placed on the management of the rooms’ division area of a hotel. Reservations, front office, guest services, registration, night audit, and account settlement functions are discussed. Safety and security, housekeeping, and revenue management areas are also introduced. Students experience the guest cycle through field experiences.
