BIOL 354 - Wildlife Biology and Conservation (4) This course provides students with foundational knowledge of the natural history of amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals found in the central and eastern United States. Concepts covered include systematics, form and function, ecology, and field identification of selected species. Particular attention is given to factors that inform species management and conservation decisions including distribution and abundance, habitat requirement, and ability to respond to environmental stressors. Includes one 3-hour lab per week.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 255 .
