COUN 682 - Abnormal Psychology (3)
This course will introduce graduate students to issues in psychopathology and psychological classification (nosology). Students will be prepared for the follow-up course that involves using the current edition of the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Theories about psychopathology, clinical syndromes, etiology, prevention, and treatment will be explored. Legal and ethical issues will also be explored.
