NURS 354 - Pathophysiology and Applied Therapeutics II (2) Part II of a two-course, comprehensive study of human pathophysiology with application in the areas of diagnostic studies, diet therapy, and pharmacotherapeutics that builds on knowledge acquired in NURS 353. Students will demonstrate a cumulative knowledge for the biologic basis of altered health in persons across the lifespan. Rationale for nursing care and teaching for the patient undergoing diagnostic procedures are examined. Pharmacologic agents, diet therapy, and knowledge from NURS 353 are applied to case scenarios for maintenance and promotion of health.
Prerequisite(s): NURS 353.
