NURS 353 - Pathophysiology and Applied Therapeutics I (2) Part I of a two-course, comprehensive study of human pathophysiology with application in the areas of diagnostic studies, diet therapy, and pharmacotherapeutics. Students discuss the biologic basis for altered health in persons across the lifespan. Rationale for nursing care and teaching for the patient undergoing diagnostic procedures will be examined. Pharmacologic agents and diet therapy are applied to case scenarios for maintenance and promotion of health.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 131, 132.
