(3)A study of the major philosophical developments from the Renaissance to the nineteenth century. We will give special attention to the end of scholasticism, the rise of modern science, and the writings of Descartes, Hobbes, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, Kant, and Nietzsche.
Prerequisite(s): Any 200-level philosophy course.
