BUS 423 - Operations Management(3) A study of strategic and tactical decisions related to the design and management of operations in both manufacturing and service organizations. (The professor may choose to focus only on the service environment in some semesters.) Some of the topics to be included are quality management, forecasting, facilities location and layout, inventory management, and tools and techniques for decision making.
Prerequisite(s): BUS 240 or MATH/PSYC 140; BUS 342.
