Center for Professional Development School of Education
The Center for Professional Development provides high quality professional development opportunities to pre-K through 12th grade educators. Workshops and seminars are held throughout the year on topics across the curriculum. Subjects include technology, art, music, guidance, literacy, math, science, and social studies.
In addition, classes on character education, differentiation, multiple intelligences, organizing and managing the classroom, bullying, and poverty are presented.
Classes are offered after school and on Saturdays during the school year and full days during the summer months. Most classes take place on the Malone campus, but some are offered in lab situations, at local school settings, or online.
The Center for Professional Development sponsors special programs including the Annual Literacy Celebration and Writer’s Workshop.
Visit the website or contact the office for specific offerings.
