Concentration in Sports Outreach Ministry (12 hours)
Sports Ministry is one of the most innovative and fastest growing ministries used by churches and Christian organizations around the world. This concentration will provide a biblical and theological foundation as well as help students to develop a personal theology for ministry through sports. Courses are also devoted to the development of practical skills, administration, leadership, and discipling athletes and coaches.
To complete the requirements for the Concentration in Sports Outreach Ministries, students will substitute the following four courses for selected courses in the standard M.A.T.S. curriculum (above). Substitutions will be determined in consultation with the Program Director. THEO 510 or THEO 515 is required.
