All chemistry majors, regardless of track, must take the following core courses:
Forensic Chemistry Track
The Forensic Chemistry Track required courses include the 52-hour Chemistry core and the 10 additional hours listed below for a total of 62 credit hours. Students wishing to pursue the Forensic Chemistry track will need to receive a series of three Hepatitis B vaccinations prior to their internships at the Canton-Stark County Crime Lab. The immunization series is administered over a 6-month period, so students should visit the Health Center in their sophomore year. Recommended additional courses:
Graduate School Track
The Graduate School Track required courses include the 52-hour Chemistry core and the 8 additional hours listed below for a total of 60 credit hours. Recommended additional course:
Pre-Dentistry Track
The Pre-Dentistry Track required courses include the 52-hour Chemistry core and the 19 additional hours listed below for a total of 71 credit hours. Pre-Medicine Track
The Pre-Medicine Track required courses include the 52-hour Chemistry core and the 15 additional hours listed below for a total of 67 credit hours. Recommended additional courses:
