The Early Childhood Generalist Endorsement may be added to the Early Childhood License (Ohio Department of Education). The completion of this endorsement (3 courses) and passing the Praxis II Subject Assessment Test will allow those pursuing the Early Childhood License (PreK-3) or those already holding the license to add
grades four and five to their teaching credentials. The program is a cognate area in the M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. For those who already have a masters degree in education, the endorsement can be earned by taking the endorsement only courses (listed below).
