COUN 601 - Special Topics in School Counseling

This three-credit hour course helps students address contemporary topics and issues in school counseling. Topics are chosen by instructor based on relevance to current school counseling issues with a different topic/module addressed each week. Topics may include addictions work in school settings, diagnosis for school counselors, classroom management, and other important topics that school counselors need to know.
