COUN 645 - Assessment and Diagnosis in Trauma Counseling (3)
This course is designed for students to acquire knowledge and skill in the assessment and diagnosis of disorders within the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders classification of Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Students will explore various trauma assessment tools, DSM diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis considerations, and prevalent comorbid disorders. Prerequisite(s): COUN 643 and COUN 644.
