EDGT 631 - Practicum in Gifted Education I (1)
This culminating experience for students in the Gifted Endorsement Program includes a supervised clinical experience/internship in an educational setting focusing on instruction of students who are gifted and talented. This first hour-long course serves to introduce students to the requirements of the practicum, including writing regular reflective journals, completing an observation of a teacher working with gifted children, and introducing action research. A minimum of 50 field hours is required in total across all three practicum courses.
