CYBR 311 - Cryptography and Data Security (3) Students will learn the mathematical background for cryptography, basic cryptography concepts, conventional and public-key cryptography, and the application of cryptography in end-to-end secure communications. The course will also cover authentication techniques and weaknesses, authorization and access control, data integrity and erasure, and an introduction to digital forensics.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 210 or permission of instructor.
Offered Fall 2022 and alternate Fall semesters.
