CHEM 401 - Physical Chemistry I (4) This course is a study of the underlying theories of thermodynamics and reaction kinetics and their applications to physical and chemical systems such as phase equilibria, chemical equilibria, gases, solids, and solutions.
Includes one 3-hour lab per week.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 221; MATH 204 or permission of instructor; PHYS 212.
