ART 423 - Digital Illustration (3) The study and practice of digital illustration techniques as they apply to creating illustrations for use in markets for both children and adults. Traditional art techniques will also be integrated into projects at a variety of levels. Drawing and composition are important in visual storytelling and considerable time will be devoted to the conceptual process. Projects will introduce students to a variety of commercial applications for illustration in both static and motion-based formats. Projects will apply traditional artistic design principles and aesthetics to design problems.
Prerequisite(s): ART 232, 271.
Offered Spring 2020 and alternate Spring semesters.
