EDUC 553 - Principles of Teaching I (3)
This course provides opportunities to students to develop skills, strategies, and appropriate techniques used for instruction of adolescent and young adult learners. Instruction focuses on the principles of teaching and learning, creating a conducive classroom environment, planning and evaluation at the developmentally appropriate level. A minimum of 20 field experience hours is required. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 505, 530; SPED 543. Co-requisite(s): SPED 554.
