ART 311 - Art for Early and Middle Childhood Education(3)
A course designed to assist the pre-service teacher in formulating a philosophy of art education and training him/her in the fundamental procedures, methods, and materials of teaching art in the early and middle childhood setting. Includes 15 hours of field experience in public school art classes, formulation of age-appropriate lesson plans, and peer teaching opportunities. Participation in OAEA and membership fee are required.Materials fee.
Prerequisite(s): EDUC 232, 270
Offered Fall 2009 and alternate Fall semesters.
