THES 610 - Models of Sports Ministry – Ancient World(3)
A study of the first century and how it intersected with the first century athletic world. New Testament words, passages, allusions, metaphors, and analogies relevant to sport, athletics, and competition will be studied. Students will be able to establish a clear biblical mandate for sport and competition as well as develop a personal theology for ministry through sports. Not offered in 2012-13.
