(3)This course will examine the historical development, current practices, and future trends of marketing sport. An analysis of key marketing strategies and concepts will be studied from a sport manager's perspective. Topics include promotions and public relations, sport consumer behavior, strategic market planning, marketing information management, marketing communications, and sponsorship.
Prerequisite(s): BUS 311 or permission of the instructor.
