(3)An exploration of the variables underlying the development of adolescents and early adulthood years. Special emphasis is placed on status and juvenile offenses (e.g., substance use/abuse, covert/overt antisocial behavior), and young law transgressors' accountability and rehabilitation. Focus is on the interaction of the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social processes as they impact the individual's transition into adulthood.
Prerequisite(s): Understanding Persons in Society course (from General Education Program; i.e., ECON 202 or PSYC 121 or SOC 201).
