NURS 312 - Nursing Across the Lifespan II: Theory

This course is a continuation of Nursing Across the Lifespan I: Theory with a focus on nursing concepts related to the adult and pediatric populations.  Using a Christian worldview, students analyze frameworks for promoting therapeutic relationships and nursing care for patients with emphasis on nursing management, health promotion, and disease prevention of common physiological imbalances of adults as well as caring, growth and development, health promotion, disease prevention and physiological imbalances of the pediatric population and family dynamics. Concurrent with NURS 314.

Prerequisite(s): NURS 311, 313. Prerequisite or Co-Requisite: NURS 356.
