NURS 311 - Nursing Across the Lifespan I: Theory

This course focuses on nursing concepts related to the adult population and the childbearing family. Using a Christian worldview, students analyze frameworks for promoting therapeutic relationships and nursing care for patients with emphasis on nursing management, health promotion, and disease prevention of common physiological imbalances of adults as well as the reproductive health balance of men, women, and the neonate. Concurrent with NURS 313.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 190, 371; CHEM 115; NURS 212, 214; PSYC 121, 220. Prerequisite or Co-Requisite: NURS 355.
